A group of two adults and eight scouts had a fun snow camping trip at Lake Alpine. The troop used sleds to carry equipment to the campsite which was an easy 0.5 mile downhill hike. The troop set up camp and had eight hours of free time. Scouts had time to make a tunnel in the snow, play with snow shoes, and sled. Night was a bit difficult for some scouts as it was cold and also there were leaks in quite a few tents. The weather was nice on Saturday and on Sunday it snowed.
